Last week As buat roti ni sebab anak-anak memang suka. Biasanya diorang makan masa panas-panas. Lagipun masa As pi kedai roti....(setelah lama tak pergi since belajar buat roti) satu RM2.50. Dulu @ RM1.80 je. Ikutkan hati tak nak beli....tapi sebab masa tu bawak anak pi klinik dan dia nak roti...beli je la!
Resepi ni dapat masa pergi kelas demo untuk roti. Ada dua jenis...basic dough & basic sweet bun dough.
Biasanya basic dough untuk yang berinti seperti tuna bread, sardin atau ikan bilis. Hari ni kita gunakan basic sweet bun dough. Resepinya....
BASIC SWEET BUN DOUGH
(A)
500 high protein flour (HP)
1/2 tsp salt
80 gm castor sugar
15 gm milk powder
3 tsp instant yeast
(B)
250 ml cold water
1 egg
(C)
60 gm butter
Method:
- combine A and mix well. Add in B, beat until dough is formed
- add in C, beat until to form smooth and elastic dough
- keep the dough in a bowl, cover with damp cloth
- leave to rise 50 minutes or until doubled in size
- divide dough into 60g equal portions and shape into balls
CARANYA:
- flatten dough and roll into long shape. Place in one sausage and wrap dough around it.
- make five slits on theexterior side and join both ends to form a flower blossom
- place on a greased tray. Leave for 45 minutes
- brush with egg wash and with topping
- bake 180 C for 15 minutes
